The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) is pleased to incorporate onto its Website a set of general recommendations related to Research Proposal Development, Submission and Processing.

The document and slides were prepared by Dr. Paul Filmer (U.S. National Science Foundation) and they intend to provide a schematic overview of general requirements, conditions, and criteria to be fulfilled by interested investigators who wish to submit proposals to IAI announcement of opportunities.

We hope that these guidelines be useful to all those investigators submitting research proposals to the IAI.
