IAI Project: Enhancing knowledge exchange for conservation and management of tropical dry forests in the Americas (CRN 3025)

Dr. Espírito Santo received his PhD in Ecology, Conservation and Management of Wildlife in Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. He currently works as a professor at the State University of Montes Claros, where he coordinates the local activities of the Tropi-Dry Collaborative Research Network. In this project, he investigates ecosystem functioning and the natural regeneration of tropical dry forests, with focus in plant-animal interactions.
