Abstract
Cities vulnerability to climate change is a widely debated issue recently. In Brazil this issue is not being explored properly yet. The propose of this paper is to debate the most important concepts regarding the study of climate change impacts on cities associating this debate with the actual context of Brazilian urbanization. One of the main subjects of then urban debate in Brazil is on the ascension of intermediate cities on urban network. We will show some overlapping themes on both subjects that can be important for developing the dialog between these important fields of study.
