Technical and scientific aspects of emissions and removals of all greenhouse gases from coastal and marine ecosystems

In response to the invitation by SBSTA-35 requesting information on the technical and scientific aspects of emissions by sources, removals by sinks and reservoirs of all greenhouse gases from coastal and marine ecosystems (mangroves, tidal salt marshes, wetlands and seagrass meadows), IAI’s submission (page 40) to OSACT-36 (May 2012) highlighted recent results of its multinational consortium for the study of global and climate changes related to the ocean in South America (SACC).
