a) Enhance the capacity of researchers and practitioners across the Americas to conduct TD research that addresses GEC challenges.

b) Promote collaboration and interchange of knowledge through educational presentations, sharing of lessons learned, and a dialogue about how to engage partners across disciplines, sectors, and communities to address GEC.

c) Promote the uptake of TD science to inform decision-making in the public and private sectors, particularly in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean. 

d) Facilitate broader engagement of GEC stakeholders and scientists by supporting effective networking across the Americas.
