Jasmin: Joint assessment of soil moisture indicators for southern South America

The collaborative initiative JASMIN (Joint Assessment of Soil Moisture Indicators) is a joint effort to advance soil-moisture estimations and address the needs of users, particularly in the agriculture sector.
JASMIN aims at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of soil-moisture estimate methods, given that soil moisture fundamental in many scientific and development areas. JASMIN also aims at understanding the physical processes regulating soil moisture variability, as well as at developing new estimation techniques suitable for the south of South America.
